Gallery: Student Challenge 'A Taste for Design'

In recognition of the Institutes’ 2013 International Student Store Design Competition earlier this year, the Southern California Chapter held their annual Student Challenge in Culver City, CA on Nov 6th. This year’s participants were asked to create food related retail concepts for several well known local retail brands to engage the shopper’s senses through scent, sight, taste or touch. This hands-on challenge identified brands who typically, are not associated with food retailing namely Union Bank, Forever 21, Dunn Edwards Paint, Oakley, James Perse and Quiksilver.
